Mature Age Students
Perhaps you need a career change, or want professional qualifications to go further in your chosen field. Maybe you just wish to study for your own interest.
University is a definite option no matter what stage of life you’re at. Support will be there wherever your interests take you.
Some universities offer Single Subject Study – the option to study one subject at a time without the commitment of a full degree.
Maybe you don’t have your HSC. Perhaps you’ve been out of the education system for some time.
Programs are available to prepare you for study at university level. Most universities have special entry schemes for Mature Age students.
You can enroll at your local TAFE campus and follow a TAFE / University Pathway.
To prepare and support you through to university study, specific programs such as Open Foundation, Study Link, Pathways Enabling Course, Preparing for Success, TAFE Tertiary Preparation Certificate, are provided by universities and TAFE.
Your options? Make new friends and study on campus. Or do it all from your own home, taking advantage of distance education to fit your studies around work and family commitments.
Education is a life-changing journey. University is the Round-the-World Ticket.
